The First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa is Canada’s largest Unitarian Universalist church with a membership of over 450 people and a choral music programme that involves approximately 75 choristers. Southminster United Church is pleased to invite you to a special concert for piano and cello with music by J. S. Bach, performed by Roland Graham and cellist Octavie Dostaler-Lalonde on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. The program will consist of solo works for both piano and cello, including the English Suite in E minor and the Prelude and Fugue in E-Flat minor for piano, as well as the Suite in D minor for Cello, along with chamber works for the instruments combined, including the Sonata for Cello and Piano in G major.

 

Proceeds from this concert will go to Southminster community outreach activities which include the “Out-of-the-Cold” Saturday Suppers, a joint initiative of Trinity Anglican, St. Matthew's Anglican and Southminster United Churches.

Tickets, at $20 ($5 for students), can be purchased from the Leading Note (370 Elgin), Compact Music (785 Bank in the Glebe), Ottawa Folklore Centre (1111 Bank), and the church office, as well as at the door.
