An inspired pairing of Requiems by French master Gabriel Fauré and contemporary British composer Howard Goodall that offer rapturous music of consolation and a calming reassurance that loved ones have gone to a heavenly home filled with eternal light, warmth and peace. Fauré said of his Requiem, “My Requiem is a lullaby of death, a happy deliverance.”
